"I told him, 'You have to speak to my parents,'" Kiara recalled during the show. "He said, 'Are you kidding me?' I responded, 'Yeah, first ask them and get their permission. Let's do it correctly. They will be happy.'"
She traveled with Siddharth's parents on that trip because her own mother was unwell at the time. Despite her instincts about the proposal, the actual moment still managed to surprise her completely.

"It did come as a surprise because I did not know where on this trip it would happen," she shared. "I kept thinking, I hope he does propose because now I've built it up in my head. And if he doesn't propose on this trip..."

"He planned the works... suddenly the violinist comes out of the bushes playing... He then goes on one knee and proposes," Kiara remembered with a smile.

"After his whole speech, he didn't know what to say to me, so he starts saying the lines of Shershaah," she revealed. "He's like, 'Dilli ka seedha saada launda hoon,' and he repeated the full dialogue from the film. Then I burst out laughing."
