Madhav Suresh Issues Strong Rebuke in Maniyanpilla Raju Accident Controversy

Actor Madhav Suresh, son of veteran actor Suresh Gopi, has delivered a forceful response to the ongoing accident case involving actor Maniyanpilla Raju and two young men on a motorcycle. Madhav did not mince words, asserting that the youths involved have not been truthful about the events of that night.

Social Media Outburst Against Alleged Falsehoods

In a pointed social media statement, Madhav accused the individuals of attempting to portray themselves as victims when he believes the reality is different. He expressed frustration with what he perceives as manipulative behavior.

Madhav wrote on his Instagram story, "Some of these people love using the victim card, what a blatant lie. He should be charged with a defamation case for lying and trying to get someone into undeserved trouble."

The Youths' Version of Events

According to reports from Manorama News, the two young men claimed that Maniyanpilla Raju's car lost control and struck their motorcycle. They alleged that the vehicle emerged suddenly and dragged them along, and that the actor failed to stop after the collision, leaving the scene.

The youths told media, "We saw the headlights of a car coming out from Trivandrum Club. It first honked and came near us, and then suddenly the car hit us and dragged us. Then it just went away. We were lying on the road for some time. After that, people came running."

Details of the Reported Incident

The accident reportedly occurred around 11:30 PM on Thursday night. Maniyanpilla Raju's car was slowly exiting the Trivandrum Club gate, crossed the median, and moved to the opposite side of the road when the collision with the motorcycle happened.

Despite awareness of the accident, the car did not stop, leading police to take the actor into custody the following morning.

The injured youths, identified as Nidev and Sooraj, both 20 years old, are currently receiving treatment in private hospitals. Nidev, a law student, suffered a fracture in his left leg, while Sooraj, awaiting ITI admission, has a fractured hip bone. Both required surgical intervention.

CCTV Footage Presents Contradictory Narrative

Surveillance footage from the scene tells a different story. The video shows the car exiting the club slowly, stopping with its indicator on, and waiting for passing vehicles. Two motorcycles approach simultaneously—one stops to allow the car to cross, but the motorcycle involved in the crash is seen approaching at high speed and cutting directly in front of the car.

This visual evidence has led many observers to question whether the youths provided a complete and accurate account of what transpired.

Police Action and Ongoing Investigation

Police have filed multiple charges including dangerous driving, careless driving, failure to provide first aid, and leaving the accident scene without stopping. Questions have also emerged about the timeliness of police response.

Reportedly, the police commissioner stated that officers visited the actor's residence at night but could not locate the vehicle. The actor claimed he met with police, explaining he was unwell and his wife was alone, and was instructed to appear the following morning.

Medical tests were conducted approximately 12 hours after the accident. The car was subsequently recovered from behind the Tennis Club based on the actor's statement.

Professional Context and Broader Implications

On the professional front, Maniyanpilla Raju was most recently seen in Mohanlal's film 'Thudarum.' This incident highlights ongoing debates about accountability, truthfulness in accident reporting, and the role of surveillance technology in resolving conflicting narratives.

The case continues to develop as authorities examine all available evidence and statements from involved parties.
