Madhuri Dixit: Entertainment Mirrors Society Better Than Lectures

Veteran Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, whose latest release is the dark comedy Maa Behen, believes that entertainment has the power to mirror society far more effectively than lectures. She emphasizes that stories should make people laugh while prompting reflection.

Humour as a Tool for Truth

Discussing how humour helps lower defenses and convey truth to society, Triptii Dimri shared with IANS: "Nothing better than entertainment. If you can say something through entertainment where people sit down, have fun, laugh, look at society and say, 'Yeah, this happens,' but they're laughing at the same time, it's much nicer than being preachy." She added, "Listen to us. I like it, it's fun! I don't know what's wrong."
