Just like all the wonderful things in life, it happened unexpectedly. The film really opened me up as a person."
She contrasts her past self with her present confidence. "Before Premam, I was an extremely shy and passive individual. This was true even though I grew up involved with music and television. I actually wanted to be invisible back then. However, to survive and thrive in this industry, I had to push myself out of my comfort zone. I taught myself that it is perfectly okay to be seen and noticed."

Madonna recalls a specific incident that highlights her earlier shyness. "Early in my career, I once did not even collect an award because I felt too shy to walk onto the stage," she admits. Heartin: This is a romantic comedy that she describes as a soft love story. "Heartin is genuinely easy on the heart," she says warmly.
Adhirshtasaali: This film, directed by Mithran R Jawahar and starring Madhavan, was shot extensively in Scotland and London. Madonna points out a technical detail: "Adhirshtasaali was shot using sync sound, which is quite interesting."

Madonna explains her personal process for committing to a film project. For her, it begins as an instinctive reaction. "Within the first five minutes of hearing a story, you get a certain feeling about whether you should commit," she notes.
However, she does not make snap decisions. "I always take my time to do the math. And I do not mean financial calculations. I carefully weigh the pros and cons of the project. But I make sure to decide quickly, usually within a day. I really do not like to keep people waiting for an answer."

The actress shares her perspective on social media and industry networking. She believes these tools do not guarantee success on their own. "You absolutely have to be yourself," she insists. "You cannot trick your audience. If you are not authentic, they will sense it immediately."
While acknowledging visibility is important, she adds a caveat. "Being visible matters, of course. But I do not believe a director will call you for a role simply because you are good at networking. Your talent and authenticity must speak for themselves."
