According to reports, Riaz Pathan left his home in Alappuzha, Kerala, at approximately 4 a.m. He was en route to Theni for professional commitments. At around 8 a.m., before reaching the town, the vehicle suddenly collided with a road divider. The impact was on the side where Riaz was seated as a passenger.

Immediate Response and Hospitalization

Local bystanders quickly assisted after the crash. A 108 ambulance arrived promptly and transported Riaz to Theni Taluk Hospital for initial treatment. Due to the need for more comprehensive medical evaluation, he was later transferred to Theni Medical College.

By evening, doctors recommended specialized care, leading to his admission to the Vaikom Indo American Hospital. Medical professionals stated that while he requires proper monitoring, his condition is stable and not a cause for major concern. They anticipate his discharge in the near future.
