Mamta Kulkarni Reveals Hilarious Behind-the-Scenes Prank from 'Karan Arjun' Shoot

In a delightful and candid revelation, actress Mamta Kulkarni recently shared a humorous behind-the-scenes story from the set of the iconic 1995 Bollywood blockbuster 'Karan Arjun'. The actress disclosed how her co-stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan cleverly avoided a planned dance sequence, leaving her to perform it solo in a memorable twist.

Funny Anecdote from Celebrity Laughter Chefs Show

Mamta Kulkarni recounted this amusing incident on the popular cooking and entertainment show Celebrity Laughter Chefs, which is hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. During the episode, fellow comedian Krushna Abhishek prompted her to reminisce about working with the two superstar Khans in 'Karan Arjun'. With a laugh, Mamta explained that there was a particular song where the choreography was originally designed for all three of them—Salman, Shah Rukh, and herself. However, in a playful maneuver, the two male leads managed to shift the entire focus onto her, resulting in a solo performance.

The Masterji Twist and the Stars' Clever Excuse

Elaborating further, Mamta shared an intriguing twist involving the film's choreographer, referred to as Masterji. Initially, Masterji informed her that she wasn't needed for the song, as it was intended only for Salman and Shah Rukh. "Hearing that, I happily went back to my room and relaxed, thinking that I didn't have any shot that day," she recalled. But the situation quickly changed when Masterji knocked on her door shortly after. He revealed that Salman and Shah Rukh had persuaded him, saying, "You should choreograph the song on Mamta instead. We won't be able to dance properly to it. Mamta will perform it much better and the song will suit her more."
