"It's still early days, but I can clarify that it is based on multiple real incidents," Vishnu Mohan revealed to the publication. He further emphasized, "It is not a regular army-based film."
Extensive Research Behind the Project
While the director remained tight-lipped about specific plot details, he shared insights into the extensive preparation that has gone into the project. Vishnu Mohan disclosed that he has been working on 'L 367' for a considerable time, conducting thorough research to ensure authenticity.
"With this subject, there are a lot of limitations on how to condense it into a feature format. I went around and met a lot of people related to these incidents to learn about the different possibilities," the director explained, highlighting the challenges of adapting real events for cinematic presentation.

'L 367' has been conceptualized as a pan-Indian project with Mohanlal leading the cast. The director hinted at a diverse technical and acting team, stating that the film will feature talent from across India and beyond.
"We have been trying to put things together ever since we got the confirmation from Lalettan around ten months back. It has been almost three months since we began pre-production, and except for one technician, we have confirmed all the others," Vishnu Mohan shared, indicating significant progress in the film's development.
