Parag Tyagi Opens Up About Shefali Jariwala's Sudden Passing
Shefali Jariwala's unexpected death left her family and close friends devastated. The actress passed away suddenly, creating a wave of shock across her social circles. Following this tragic event, numerous theories emerged about what might have caused her demise. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, has now spoken publicly to address these swirling rumors.
Dismissing False Claims About Health and Diet
In a recent podcast conversation with Paras Chhabra, Parag Tyagi firmly rejected the speculation that his wife's death resulted from skipping meals or using glutathione. He expressed frustration with the baseless theories circulating online.
"Nothing happens before its time," Parag stated emphatically. "Time holds the ultimate power. For months, we underwent regular blood tests and heart check-ups just like everyone else. All reports consistently showed normal results."
He directly countered the specific rumors that had gained traction. "People began suggesting many things - that we missed meals or that glutathione caused this. That is completely untrue," Parag clarified. "I have personally used glutathione for years without any issues. Nowadays, taking antioxidants is quite common due to pollution and general health concerns. I also take vitamins and antioxidants regularly. There was absolutely nothing unusual about our routine."
The Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Parag Tyagi confirmed that Shefali Jariwala died from cardiac arrest. He emphasized how unexpectedly the event occurred, despite their proactive health monitoring.
"The cardiac arrest happened suddenly, and it can affect anyone," he explained. "We completed all necessary tests, including a 2D echo. Nobody can predict something like this occurring."
Recalling the Tragic Day
Parag shared heartbreaking details about the day Shefali passed away, describing the sequence of events that unfolded rapidly.
"That day, I had just returned home and was parking my car when Shefali called me," he recounted. "She mentioned that Ram felt tired because we had a puja at home. She asked if I could take our pet Simba for a walk instead. She told me Ram would bring Simba downstairs, so I didn't go up - something I deeply regret now."
The situation escalated quickly. "Ram brought our pet down. Within minutes, the compounder came downstairs. Soon after, I received word that Shefali was experiencing breathing difficulties. I rushed upstairs immediately and attempted CPR, but nothing proved effective. Cardiac arrest provides no warning time," Parag said, his voice likely filled with emotion during the interview.
Facing Social Media Backlash
Parag Tyagi also addressed the trolling he encountered following his wife's death. He noted the disparity between online accusations and real-life support.
"Some individuals on social media attempted to blame me, primarily seeking attention or views," he revealed. "However, in actual life, nobody questioned my actions or intentions."
