Prabhas' The Raja Saab Trailer 2.0 Reveals New Details

The excitement for Prabhas' upcoming cinematic venture has reached a fever pitch with the release of the second official trailer for 'The Raja Saab'. This much-anticipated horror-comedy, directed by Maruthi, has dropped a new preview that offers fans a deeper look into the story, characters, and supernatural spectacle that awaits them.

Trailer 2.0 Expands The Supernatural Universe

Shared on the film's official X (formerly Twitter) account, Trailer 2.0 promises "more than you expect," highlighting the powerful combination of performances, visuals, and music. The new footage provides significantly more narrative clarity compared to the earlier teaser, setting the stage for a unique blend of scares and laughter. The film is slated for a grand pan-India release on Sankranthi, January 9, 2026, and will be dubbed in multiple languages to cater to a nationwide audience.

Prabhas in a Powerful Dual Role

The core revelation of the new trailer is Prabhas appearing in a compelling dual avatar. The narrative first introduces him as a young man who unexpectedly inherits an ancient, haunted mansion. The plot thickens as he is later shown as an elderly man wielding supernatural abilities, poised for a confrontation with a sinister hypnotist villain.

Adding emotional depth to the story is the character of his grandmother, portrayed by veteran actress Zarina Wahab. The trailer suggests she becomes a central figure, deciding to confront the hypnotist who is troubling her in her dreams. Prabhas's character finds himself drawn to the mansion, which appears to be a meticulously designed trap, with the villain seemingly controlling his every move from the shadows.

Stellar Cast Amplifies Thrills and Humour

The antagonist's role is brought to life by none other than Sanjay Dutt, whose menacing look promises a truly scary villain. The ensemble cast is packed with talent, including Boman Irani, Brahmanandam, and Vennela Kishore, ensuring a mix of thrilling moments and comedic relief. A striking visual from the trailer shows Prabhas with white hair and a face reminiscent of the Joker, hinting at the transformative journey of his character.

The film, which boasts a high budget and began shooting in 2022, also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. Trailer 2.0 successfully heightens the anticipation by offering a vibrant glimpse into the adventure, comedy, and themes of supernatural rebirth that will unfold on screen during the festive Sankranti period in 2026.
