They celebrated by releasing an exclusive teaser showcasing a pivotal sequence from the movie's narrative.
Grand Teaser Reveals Lord Ram in Battle Stance
Through an official post on their social media channels, the team shared a glimpse of the film's epic Ramayana sequence. The teaser depicts Lord Ram armed with his bow and arrow, poised for a climactic confrontation with the demon king Ravana. Accompanying the visual was a note that read, "You’ll see him in theatres by next Sri Rama Navami." This announcement has generated significant excitement among audiences eagerly awaiting the film's release.

'Varanasi' has been officially scheduled for release on April 7, 2027, which falls approximately one week before Ram Navami in that year. The film stars Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in a dual role, with one of his portrayals being that of Lord Ram as part of a crucial narrative arc. The teased battle sequence is said to be central to the storyline, with Rajamouli reportedly dedicating an extensive 60-day shooting schedule to film a 25-minute-long epic battle scene, mounted on a grand scale to deliver a cinematic spectacle.
