The past year has clearly demonstrated what I can achieve when talented filmmakers believe in my capabilities and provide me with strong, substantial material. My professional journey stands as a meaningful example for all struggling artists."
Navigating Challenges and Building Resilience
Recounting the challenging period when meaningful opportunities in mainstream Bollywood seemed particularly elusive, Ravi Kishan opened up about his experiences. "After working in Tere Naam alongside Salman Khan, I felt genuinely exhausted due to the noticeable lack of substantial opportunities," he confessed. "I thought to myself, there is overwhelming competition here, I might not become part of this relentless race, and perhaps no one will respond positively to my efforts. Naturally, there was considerable frustration and anger during that phase, but I consciously channeled that energy into building my own distinctive space within the Bhojpuri film industry. However, I never blamed Bollywood unfairly. Hindi cinema has given me my initial identity and taught me invaluable lessons that I later applied successfully to Bhojpuri films."
