Asha Bhosle, one of the most influential and revered singers of her era, passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, where she succumbed to multiple organ failure after battling several medical complications, as confirmed by Doctor Prateet Samdani. The announcement of her death was made outside the hospital by Ashish Shelar, the Culture Minister of Maharashtra.
Her son, Anand Bhosle, provided details about the funeral arrangements, stating that the last respects would be held at her residence in Lower Parel on Monday at 11:00 am, followed by the final rites at Shivaji Park at 4:00 pm. This schedule allowed fans and admirers to pay their tributes to the legendary artist.
