Sajid Khan rolled onto The Wheel of Fortune set using a wheelchair. This marked his first public appearance since the operation. Paparazzi immediately approached him. They asked the director about his current condition. Sajid responded with his characteristic wit. He said, "Dikh raha hai teko kaisa hoon (You can see what I’m like)."
The filmmaker then elaborated on his situation. He stated, "Ye koi puchne ka baat hai kaisa hoon. Accident ho gaya yar, ye tang me surgery hui hai, ye tang fracture ho gaya (This isn't something to ask how I am. I had an accident, my leg underwent surgery, and it got fractured)." His direct reply highlighted the seriousness of the incident.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the accident occurred in late December 2025. Sajid met with this mishap on the sets of Ekta Kapoor's production in Mumbai. Following the accident, he underwent necessary surgery. His sister, renowned choreographer and director Farah Khan, provided an update to concerned fans. She posted on Instagram to reassure everyone. Farah wrote, "The surgery is done, he is absolutely fine now." Her message brought relief to many followers.

Sajid Khan initially gained significant popularity through successful comedy films. His hits include 'Heyy Babyy', 'Housefull', and 'Housefull 2'.
