Reena Raju expressed her deep affection for Salman Khan, stating, "I will get emotional speaking about Salman sir. First of all, let me say, I love him with all my three hearts and my soul." She recounted a pivotal time before her first heart transplant when she had Salman's contact number. Despite the countless messages he must receive, he personally replied to her.
Detailing their interaction, she revealed, "I told him I'm going through a heart transplant. He was shooting in Australia at that time. He called on the night of my transplant and spoke to us for almost two hours. He was very kind to my family and encouraged me to go through it." This lengthy conversation provided immense emotional support during a critical juncture in her health journey.
Reconnecting After Years and a Night of Celebration
Following that initial contact, Reena and Salman lost touch for nearly two years. However, when she reached out again regarding her foundation, Salman remembered her instantly. After her second heart transplant, she received an invitation to his residence at Galaxy Apartments.
"He has kindness written all over him," Reena shared. "We spent the whole night partying at his house, singing and dancing. Four months after my second transplant, I had diabetes and all kinds of medical issues, but I was having a good time." This experience highlighted Salman's ability to create joyful moments despite her ongoing health challenges.
A Visit to the Race 3 Sets and a Thoughtful Gift
Reena also recalled a special day spent with Salman on the sets of his film Race 3. "He took us to the Race 3 sets, and we spent the whole day there," she said. Demonstrating his remarkable memory and generosity, Salman gifted her a white bicycle from his Being Human brand.
She explained, "He gifted me a Being Human white bicycle because he remembered that I had messaged him about it long ago." This gesture underscored his attentiveness to her past communications and his commitment to his philanthropic initiatives.
