The much-talked-about horror-comedy 'Thamma', starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, is finally set to make its digital debut. As the fifth instalment in the popular Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), the film will soon be available for streaming, allowing audiences who missed its theatrical run to experience the supernatural tale.

The Plot: A Vampire Romance with a Desi Twist
'Thamma' revolves around the life of Alok Goyal (Ayushmann Khurrana), a TV journalist based in Delhi who lives with his parents. His ordinary life is turned upside down following a trekking accident involving a wild animal attack. This incident leads him to cross paths with a mysterious woman.
A romantic bond quickly blossoms between them. However, Alok soon makes a shocking discovery: the woman he has fallen for is not human. She is 'Tadaka', a vampire belonging to an ancient Indian clan of creatures known as the 'betaals'.
Their world is under the tyrannical rule of a ruthless leader named 'Yakshasan'. The film's core, blending thrills and humour, lies in the intense confrontation between Alok and Yakshasan. The cast also features the acclaimed Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a pivotal role.
