Yerin Ha Champions 'Bridgerton-Heated Rivalry' Crossover Idea

As the fourth season of the hit Netflix series 'Bridgerton' wrapped up on February 28, actress Yerin Ha, who portrayed Sophie, has enthusiastically endorsed the possibility of a crossover with the popular series 'Heated Rivalry.' The 28-year-old performer displayed palpable excitement when questioned about such a steamy multiverse scenario, signaling her full support for the ambitious project.

Actress Voices Excitement at 2026 Actor Awards

Yerin Ha made a stylish appearance at the prestigious 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, donning an elegant black and white ensemble. During the event, an E! News reporter proposed the crossover idea, stating, "We need a Bridgerton-Heated Rivalry crossover, because that would just explode our televisions." Ha responded with infectious enthusiasm, playfully suggesting, "(We) have different cottages, we can go to different cottages," hinting at the narrative possibilities between the two distinct fictional worlds.

Candid Confession About Filming Challenges

Beyond the crossover buzz, Yerin Ha has been remarkably transparent about some of the less glamorous aspects of filming 'Bridgerton.' In a previous interview with Capital Breakfast, she revealed that she developed folliculitis after shooting a bathtub scene. "There's a scene where we are in a bathtub, and basically I put baby powder all on me because I was told it would help dry my skin to put the intimacy wear on with my tape," Ha explained. "Then basically the next day after the bathtub, I got hives all over my body and got folliculitis and needed steroid cream."

She took responsibility for the incident, adding, "But I blame myself, because I think it was a combination of baby powder and the bath water." The actress also humorously noted that her co-actor did not experience a similar adverse reaction, highlighting the unpredictable nature of filming intimate scenes.

Jet-Lagged Yet Thrilled at Awards Ceremony

Amid the growing excitement surrounding the potential crossover, Yerin Ha admitted to feeling "quite jet-lagged" from her extensive travels for the show. Despite the fatigue, she expressed genuine excitement about attending the Actors Award, telling reporters, "I'm just so excited and honored to be here with other actors." She further elaborated, "I feel like I rarely get to be in places like this, so it's really exciting," underscoring her appreciation for such industry events and the opportunity to connect with fellow performers.

The actress's dual revelations—her fervent support for a groundbreaking crossover and her honest account of filming difficulties—paint a vivid picture of both the creative aspirations and physical demands faced by actors in high-profile productions. As 'Bridgerton' continues to captivate audiences worldwide, Yerin Ha's insights offer a compelling glimpse behind the scenes of the beloved period drama.
