Dhurandhar Box Office Day 12: Inches From ₹400 Cr, Set For Record Books
Dhurandhar Nears ₹400 Cr Mark on Day 12

The Aditya Dhar-directed magnum opus Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is on the cusp of a monumental box office achievement. On its twelfth day in theatres, the film is inching tantalizingly close to the coveted ₹400 crore mark in domestic net collections, cementing its place among the all-time greats in Hindi cinema.

Steady March Towards A Milestone

According to data from trade tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar had earned an estimated ₹13.47 crore by 5 pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. This robust performance pushed its total India net collection to approximately ₹394.72 crore. Early trends for the full day suggested a potential collection nearing ₹20 crore, heavily dependent on the performance of evening and night shows. By noon on Day 12, the film had already garnered around ₹2.89 crore, indicating sustained audience interest.

The film's journey has been marked by exceptional staying power. After a strong opening, it witnessed a sharp surge during its second weekend, propelling its domestic total to about ₹379 crore by the end of Day 10. This phenomenal run has officially catapulted Dhurandhar into the top 10 highest-grossing Hindi films in India by net collections.

Defying Trends and Setting Records

What makes Dhurandhar's performance extraordinary is its ability to defy typical box office patterns. The film recorded its highest single-day collection yet on its second Monday (Day 11), a day that usually sees a significant slowdown. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh highlighted this feat, noting it outperformed recent blockbusters like 'Pushpa 2', 'Stree 2', and 'Chhaava' on the same benchmark day.

Adarsh revealed that the Day 11 collection of approximately ₹31.80 crore was even higher than its opening day figure of ₹28.60 crore. He stated, "'DHURANDHAR' is on a record-smashing rampage, rewriting the box office rulebook." Occupancy levels remained impressive on Day 11, averaging 42.35% nationally, with evening (51.17%) and night shows (55.75%) drawing the biggest crowds.

Global Domination and Future Prospects

The film's success is not confined to India. On the global stage, Dhurandhar has grossed around ₹588 crore worldwide. This staggering figure has allowed it to overtake Mohit Suri's 'Saiyaara' to emerge as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year worldwide.

However, the film's sustained run might encounter some headwinds in its third week. Screens are expected to be reallocated ahead of the release of James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19. Despite an anticipated reduction in show counts, exhibitors remain confident that Dhurandhar will continue to attract audiences due to its strong word-of-mouth.

Released on December 5, 2025, the film features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, it has been widely praised for its high-octane action sequences, powerful performances, and grand production scale, even though its 214-minute runtime has been noted by some critics.
