The veteran film producer R B Choudary, widely recognized for his production company Super Good Films, tragically passed away on May 5, 2026, following a severe road accident in Rajasthan. The incident has left the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries in shock. He was traveling after attending a family wedding when the accident occurred, turning an ordinary journey into a heartbreaking tragedy.
How the Accident Happened
According to reports, R B Choudary had attended a close relative's wedding in Lilamba village, Rajasthan. After the event, he was returning in a car along with his son-in-law and driver, Gautam. At around 3 PM, while the car was proceeding on the national highway near Joontha village in the Beawar region, a herd of cows suddenly appeared on the road. The driver attempted to avoid colliding with the cows by making an abrupt turn, but the car crashed into the roadside barrier.
Impact of the Accident
The damage from the accident was extensive, with the entire front section of the car destroyed. R B Choudary suffered major injuries and died on the spot due to the severity of the impact. His son-in-law and driver, Gautam, were seriously injured. They were immediately rescued and taken to a hospital in Jodhpur for urgent treatment.
