Makers Recover Rs 120 Crore from Secondary Rights
According to recent reports, the producers have reportedly finalized a deal worth around Rs 120 crore from secondary rights, including OTT, audio, and satellite platforms. This means they will need to recover significantly less from theatrical earnings. The 'Welcome' franchise holds strong brand recall, with the earlier films 'Welcome' (2007) and 'Welcome Back' (2015) enjoying enduring popularity. Consequently, the third installment carries considerable buzz. With secondary rights already providing safe returns, the makers can breathe easier.
Akshay Kumar to Receive 72% IPR Share

According to reports, once the movie begins generating revenue after release, the actor is set to pocket a whopping 72 percent of the IPR share, while the producer retains the remaining 28 percent. This deal underscores Akshay's confidence in the franchise's potential.
