Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's Love Story: From Colleagues to Soulmates

Not every love story begins with a dramatic moment or a filmy first glance. Some of the best ones start at work, over long hours and shared laughter, between two people who were too busy doing their jobs to notice they were falling for each other. That is exactly how Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa found each other. What followed was a relationship so warm, so genuine, and so entirely theirs that it has made them one of the most beloved couples in Indian television.

From the Sets of 'Comedy Circus' to Forever

In an old interview, Bharti spoke about how she never imagined she would find her life partner at the workplace. She told the Free Press Journal, "I never thought that I would find my life partner at my workplace in Mumbai. I was performing in 'Comedy Circus', and Haarsh was the script writer. We used to spend a lot of time together, as it is very difficult to write the script for a stand-up act without interacting with the performer. We worked together from noon to night, and soon, we began liking to spend time together. If he was late, I would fret about why he hadn't come." It was not love at first sight, but a connection that grew steadily through hours of working side by side, the kind that sneaks up on you before you even realize it is happening.

He Skipped the Date and Went Straight to the Proposal

What happened next was very Haarsh. No candlelight dinner, no elaborate setup, no carefully planned speech. Bharti recalled, "One day he told me without much fuss, 'I want to marry you'. Usually guys suggest going out for a date but he proposed to me! I was not prepared for marriage. I wanted to work and earn money since I came from a humble background." A writer who skipped every step and went straight to the point. The proposal was as direct and uncomplicated as the man himself, and clearly it worked.

December 3, 2017: The Wedding

The couple tied the knot on December 3, 2017, in a celebration that was everything their relationship had always been — full of warmth, laughter, and people who genuinely loved them. The wedding brought together two very different worlds: a Punjabi girl and a Gujarati family. The pictures and videos from the wedding soon went viral on social media.

Gola Arrives, and Everything Changes

On April 3, 2022, Bharti and Haarsh became parents to a baby boy they named Laksh Singh Limbachiyaa, affectionately called Gola by everyone in the family. In an old conversation with IANS, Bharti spoke about balancing motherhood with work, saying, "I am very passionate about my work, and I also feel that if I had not worked or earned money, we could not have afforded such facilities at home." Haarsh stepped into the role of the hands-on parent without hesitation, reading up on baby care and taking charge at home whenever Bharti had shoots.

And Then Came Baby Number Two

Bharti and Haarsh announced their second pregnancy on October 6, 2025, with a joint post captioned simply, "We are pregnant again." In true Bharti fashion, she later revealed she had not even known about the pregnancy for the first two and a half months, joking that fat people usually do not pay much attention when they gain a little weight. Their second son arrived on December 19, 2025, a little earlier than expected after Bharti's water unexpectedly broke. The couple announced the arrival with an adorable video, walking towards a clothesline and hanging a tiny t-shirt with the words "It's a boy" appearing on screen in blue, captioning it, "Limbachiyaa and sons. Again it's a boy."

A Love Story Still Being Written

From a comedy set in Mumbai where a performer kept checking the clock for a writer who was running late, to a home full of laughter, two boys, and a YouTube channel that lets the world peek into their life together, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa have built something that feels genuinely rare. They work together, parent together, make people laugh together, and somehow make it all look easy. That is not a small thing. That is everything.
