Bobby Deol admits to stealing Sunny Deol's jeans

Bobby Deol recently gave fans an amusing glimpse into the Deol household dynamics with a candid confession. Appearing on the popular chat show 'Shekhar Tonite', hosted by veteran actor Shekhar Suman, Bobby revealed that the very first pair of jeans he ever owned was quietly borrowed—without permission—from his elder brother Sunny Deol's wardrobe. And the best part? Sunny still has no idea about the theft.

Bobby Deol confesses he stole Sunny Deol's jeans in college

During the 'Confession Room' segment on the show, Bobby recalled the incident from his college days. He explained that a particular branded pair of Sunny's jeans had caught his eye. After waiting patiently for a month while the jeans sat unused under a pile of clothes, he decided to make his move.

"There was this one pair of jeans lying there. Even after a month, it was still buried under 20 other pairs. I thought I'd quietly take it out; no one would even notice," Bobby said with a laugh. He then added, "I secretly took it out, and to this day my brother still doesn't know. The first pair of jeans I ever owned was stolen from my brother."

Why Bobby Deol raided Sunny Deol's wardrobe

Bobby also provided context for his sneaky behavior. As a college student with no income, shopping was not an option for him. "I used to check my brother's cupboard because he shopped a lot. Back then, I was in college and wasn't working, so I didn't really get to shop for myself. He had a huge collection of jeans lying around," Bobby explained. Host Shekhar Suman reacted with enthusiasm, exclaiming, "Fantastic! Amazing!"

Bobby Deol's projects

On the professional front, Bobby Deol is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Bandar', directed by Anurag Kashyap. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
