Bobby Deol has finally broken his silence on the persistent rumours of a cold war with co-star Alia Bhatt on the sets of their upcoming film 'Alpha'. Speculation had been rife that the two actors had creative differences, with reports suggesting that Alia's habit of offering inputs during scenes, including those involving Bobby, led to tension. It was also claimed that producer Aditya Chopra had to step in to ensure smooth completion of the shoot.
Bobby Deol dismisses rumours
In a candid chat with Rajat Sharma on the show 'Aap Ki Adalat', Bobby Deol dismissed all such reports as baseless. He said, "Mujhe bhi kisi dost ne bheja uss cheez ka aur main hairaan hua. Log itne velle hai ke kuch bhi banaa dete hai. Maine Ranbir ke saath film ki uske baad jab yeh film offer hui Alia ke saath toh maine socha ho kya raha hai mere saath, dono mere favourite actors hai. Toh it was so nice. Itni acchi actress hai, itna hard work karti hai. Usko fight sequence karne hai and she was so prepared."
He further added, "Aisa bhi likha tha ke Bobby itna naaraaz tha ke Aditya Chopra ne usko ek aur film offer kardi. I can't go around proving the point to everyone but it's not true. Zyadatar joh aap Instagram se influenced rehte hai usmein 90 percent kahaaniyan asli nahi hoti."
