Actor Celina Jaitly has been navigating a series of personal challenges in recent months, including an ongoing legal dispute involving her brother and a divorce battle with her husband, Austrian hotelier Peter Haag. Amid the divorce proceedings, one of her greatest sorrows is being separated from her children. Celina has alleged that her husband Peter has sent her children to an undisclosed location and blocked her on WhatsApp, leaving her unable to communicate with them.
Seeking Divine Strength
Amid these emotional struggles, the actor recently turned to faith and visited the revered Maa Baglamukhi Temple in Himachal Pradesh. Maa Baglamukhi is worshipped by those seeking to win legal battles, as the goddess is believed to be powerful and is often invoked for blessings during legal challenges. On Wednesday, Celina shared a video from the temple on Instagram, showing her offering prayers and appearing emotional while seeking blessings before the deity.
In her caption, she opened up about the reasons behind her visit. She wrote, "In the Garbhagriha of Maa Baglamukhi, I placed my prayers at the feet of the Divine Mother for reunion with my brother, for reunion with my children, and for the restoration of what love and destiny should never separate. I share this sacred puja with every soul seeking Maa Baglamukhi’s blessings, protection, justice, and the strength to bring their loved ones home."
Legal Struggles with Brother
Earlier this year in March, the Delhi High Court dismissed a plea filed by Celina seeking assistance in meeting her brother, Vikrant Jaitly, who is currently detained in the United Arab Emirates. The petition was rejected after it was conveyed that Vikrant did not wish to communicate with his sister and wanted legal matters to proceed only after discussions with his wife, Charul Jaitly.
Speaking about her brother’s decision at the time, Celina said, "I cannot speculate on what my brother may have been advised or told in detention. He is extremely protective of me and has no visibility of what is happening in the outside world. Given my current circumstances, it is possible that he may have received partial information and is trying to shield me from further financial and emotional strain. In such circumstances, any decision taken by a detainee must be viewed in context."
Divorce and Custody Battle
Alongside concerns regarding her brother, Celina has also been navigating a difficult separation from her husband, Peter Haag. In November last year, she reportedly initiated legal proceedings accusing him of domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation, while seeking ₹50 crore in compensation. The actor has also publicly spoken about being unable to spend time with her sons, Winston and Viraaj, despite custody-related arrangements.
Earlier on Mother’s Day, Celina shared an emotional note reflecting on her pain and separation from her children. She wrote, "All I ever asked for… was my children… & what I myself contributed to this marriage, my own hard earned money, my own assets, my own sacrifices. Everything was taken from me over 15 years of marriage. Today, I am left with a broken heart… & a place beside my departed son’s grave where I cry, pray & gather strength. This… is Mother’s Day for me. But I am the daughter of Maa Mahalalitha Ambika, Maa Kali, & Maa Durga. I now return to India to fight for my children, my dignity, truth & justice."
Celina had also shared visuals from Austria, where she traveled recently for court proceedings and visited the grave of her late son during the trip. Through her social media posts, the actor has continued to document her emotional journey while seeking resolution in both her personal and legal battles.
