Celina Jaitly's Heartbreaking First Christmas Away from Her Sons Amid Divorce
Celina Jaitly's emotional Christmas note for sons during divorce

Bollywood actress and former Miss India, Celina Jaitly, shared a deeply emotional message on Christmas Eve, expressing her anguish over being separated from her three sons. This comes amid a bitter and ongoing legal battle with her Austrian hotelier husband, Peter Haag, from whom she filed for divorce last month.

A Mother's Heartfelt Plea on Christmas Eve

Taking to Instagram, Celina Jaitly posted a picture with her sons—Winston, Viraaj, and Arthur—and poured her heart out in a lengthy note. She revealed that this Christmas marks the first time in 13 years, and eight years for her youngest, Arthur, that she is not celebrating with her children. In November, Celina filed a 199-page divorce petition accusing Haag of severe abuse and of blocking her access to their children.

"Love does not disappear when you are kept apart…It only aches louder," she wrote. "Every prayer tonight knows your names by heart. My dearest boys, this Christmas Eve is the first Christmas away from the pieces of my heart."

She detailed the simple, cherished moments she is missing, from baking cookies and making aloo paranthas to teaching algebra and building snowmen. "It hurts to reminisce & write through tears of beautiful memories," Celina added, stating she cannot even speak to or hear their voices this Christmas.

The Legal Battle and Serious Allegations

The actress's legal journey began in November when she officially filed for divorce. Her petition, submitted under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, levies serious accusations against Peter Haag. Celina has accused him of emotional, physical, verbal, and sexual abuse. Furthermore, she has alleged financial misconduct and infidelity on his part.

In a significant escalation, Celina has claimed that her estranged husband is deliberately preventing her from seeing their three sons. A legal notice was served to Peter Haag, which was to be answered by December 12. However, there has been no public update on the case's progression since that deadline passed.

A Promise of Eternal Love

Despite the pain, Celina's message to her children was one of unwavering love and hope. She wrote about sending her "everlasting love & blessings" through Santa Claus, asking him to take infinite rounds above their home in Austria until she finds her way back to them.

"The love I feel for you, my sons, will never fit into just one round of Santa," she expressed. Celina ended her poignant note by signing off as "Your devoted Mommy, Mama Katze," holding onto the hope that her sons will understand her actions when they grow older.

The case highlights the painful personal struggles that unfold behind the glamorous facade of celebrity life, with a mother's fight for her children taking center stage during the festive season.
