During his conversation with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Hirani revealed that he had once approached him seeking permission to shoot portions of the film at The Art of Living Foundation premises in Bengaluru. The director admitted he initially believed the request would be rejected, especially since the film tackled the issue of fake godmen. However, Gurudev immediately agreed. “I was quite certain Gurudev would decline the request. Nevertheless, I still went ahead and asked him for permission. But to my surprise, Gurudev instantly gave his consent and allowed me and my team to shoot at The Art of Living Foundation premises,” Hirani shared. He further added that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar appreciated the film's intention of exposing fraudulent spiritual leaders, which deeply touched him.
