Hailee Steinfeld is beginning the next phase of her postpartum journey. More than two months after welcoming her first child with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the actress shared a candid update about getting back into shape and adjusting to life as a new mother. While she is slowly returning to her workout routine, Steinfeld is making sure not to rush the process. The update comes as Josh Allen prepares for another season carrying enormous expectations, with many believing the Bills star is under pressure to finally deliver a Super Bowl championship.
Hailee Steinfeld Opens Up About Her Return to Fitness After Childbirth
Hailee Steinfeld discussed her recovery during a June edition of her Beau Society Substack Live. The actress reflected on how her fitness routine has evolved since welcoming her daughter with Allen on April 2 and explained that she is only now beginning to increase her activity levels.
Rather than immediately returning to intense training sessions, Hailee Steinfeld said she is taking a gradual approach and focusing on what feels right for her body. She also revealed that a familiar figure has stepped in to help guide her through the process.
“I am just starting to ramp up my workout routine. I am back with my trainer aka Dad, who really likes to give me a run for my money. It’s all about a slow ramp-up right now and listening to my body.” The comment offered a glimpse into her current routine and highlighted the role her father, Peter Steinfeld, is playing in her recovery. While she joked about how challenging his workouts can be, the bigger message was about patience. Steinfeld emphasized that listening to her body remains her top priority as she works toward regaining strength.
She also shared that swimming has become part of her routine. The low-impact activity allows her to stay active without placing unnecessary stress on her body, making it an ideal option during the recovery process.
Josh Allen Enters Another Season with Growing Championship Expectations
While Hailee Steinfeld focuses on recovery and family life, Josh Allen is preparing for a season that could have a major impact on his NFL legacy.
The Bills quarterback continues to be regarded as one of the league’s premier players. He has collected MVP honors, delivered several memorable playoff runs and established himself among football’s elite signal-callers. Yet despite those accomplishments, a Super Bowl title remains the one achievement missing from his résumé.
That conversation intensified recently when CBS Sports included Allen among the quarterbacks with the most to gain from winning a championship. The ranking reflected a growing belief that a Super Bowl victory would elevate his standing among the greatest quarterbacks of his generation.
For now, both Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld are embracing different challenges. One is chasing football’s biggest prize, while the other is taking steady steps toward a successful recovery after motherhood.
