Jayati Bhatia, who shares a close bond with her Sasural Simar Ka co-stars Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, recently opened up about their association and journey together. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the veteran actress recalled witnessing Dipika and Shoaib grow closer during the end of Dipika's first marriage.
Dipika Kakar's Strength and Support
Jayati praised the Bigg Boss 12 winner, calling her a strong girl with immense inner strength. However, she also emphasized that constantly labeling someone as strong can make it harder for them to express their need for help or affection. Jayati said, "First of all, she's a very strong girl. But many times, when we keep calling someone 'strong,' we forget that they also need support. People say the same about me too, without realizing that I also need love, care, and someone to hold my hand at times."
Witnessing Their Journey
Jayati shared that she has witnessed Dipika's personal life closely, from her first divorce to her love story with Shoaib. "When the show started, both Dipika and Shoaib were quite vulnerable, and I've seen that phase closely. I've also seen how they slowly came together as a couple, even during the time when Dipika's first marriage was ending and she grew closer to Shoaib," she said.
Admiration for Their Bond
Jayati expressed her admiration for the couple's bond, stating, "I'm really proud of how far they have come. Their bond has become so strong over time. The way Dipika cared for Shoaib's family, and now the way Shoaib and his family support her, is truly commendable." She also mentioned that she still calls Dipika by her character name Simar, finding it difficult to address her as Dipika.
