Jr NTR-Trivikram Mythological Film Announcement Delayed

There are reports that Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas will reunite for an upcoming mythological film. Although there is no official announcement yet, reports had suggested that the makers would unveil the project on Jr NTR's birthday, May 20. However, according to the latest buzz, the team is taking extra time before announcing the movie.

Reason Behind the Delay

The film is being referred to as 'God of War' and is expected to bring Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas together once again. According to a report by Moneycontrol, the delay is due to the announcement video and promotional material. Reports suggest that the team felt the first version did not fully match the film's scale and vision. Because of this, the makers reportedly decided to rework the promotional content. They wanted the first glimpse to create a strong impact and reflect the project's grandeur. This is believed to be one of the main reasons behind the delay in making the film official.

Speculations About the Film

Speculation about the film's story has also kept fans interested. Last year, Jr NTR was spotted carrying the book Muruga - The Lord of War, The God of Wisdom by Anand Balasubramanian during an airport appearance in Mumbai. This led to discussions that the actor may have already started preparing for the role. Industry buzz suggests that the film could be based on Lord Kumara Swamy, also known as Lord Kartikeya or Subrahmanya Swamy, though there is still no official confirmation.

On his birthday, the makers revealed the first look and title of the film. It shows the film's world filled with crime, drugs, and politics. The glimpse starts with visuals of guns, British colonisation, and opium farming.
