Kanwar Dhillon on Success: Hard Work and Consistency Key
Kanwar Dhillon: Success is a By-Product of Hard Work

Actor Kanwar Dhillon has worked tirelessly to achieve his current standing in the entertainment industry. Known for his impressive acting abilities, Dhillon recently shared his perspective on success and the principles that guide him.

The True Meaning of Success

Reflecting on his journey, Dhillon observed, "I have seen many people for whom success goes to their head. In no time, they go downhill and disappear from the scene. I personally feel success is a by-product of hard work. It will come to you if you are confined to your work and delivery. If you do not respect your success, success will not respect you, and it is just a matter of time before the bubble bursts." He emphasized that he was clear about the basics of success and follows rules that he lives by. "Maintaining success is the real challenge. Success will come to you when the time is right. What is destined to work for you will work for you, and one should not get too used to success but be open to failures and rise again, as that is life," he added.

Pressure After Success

Currently playing Sachin Deshmukh in the popular show Udne Ki Aasha, Dhillon acknowledged that success brings increased pressure. "The pressure after success is greater because people see you at a certain position and expect you to deliver at the same level. You also feel the pressure of expectation. I believe in keeping a realistic approach. All your shows cannot be a blockbuster. Success makes you think a lot about what is next, but it is always better to go with the flow. I do not get carried away and let my work speak," he stated.

Challenges of Consistency

When asked if staying consistent has ever been more challenging than reaching a milestone, Dhillon admitted, "There have been moments where I have been consistent and craved to reach a milestone. I used to question myself: I have worked harder than my peers and for more years than those who achieved success before me, so why not me? You have these questions. But the game changed with Pandya Store. Since then, I have started seeing things differently. The insecurity of being consistent should be there to keep you going. Now success has made me wise enough to make the right choices."

14 Years in the Industry

Having spent 14 years in the industry, Dhillon understands that long-term success comes from showcasing a wide range of performances. He concluded, "I am a product of consistent performance over time."
