The shoot also marked her reunion with her nephew Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah. Recently, the makers shared a new promo on their official Instagram account, where Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah are seen getting emotional as Sunita makes her entry. In the video, the Laughter Chefs gate opens and Sunita calls Krushna's name. The popular comedian gets stunned seeing Sunita in front of him. The moment becomes quite emotional as the song 'Kitni baatein yaad aati hai' plays in the background.
Krushna is seen breaking down in tears on seeing Sunita Ahuja and says, "14 saal hogaye, mujhe toh aapke charno mein parking mil gayi hai..." He falls at her feet crying. Sunita Ahuja also gets overwhelmed with emotions. He then stands beside Kashmera and says, "Aaj toh gaadiyon ko parking chahiye Sunita mami," indirectly urging her to forgive Kashmera. As the camera turns towards Kashmera, she also becomes emotional and says, "I am so sorry."
Recently, while talking to photographers, Krushna shared that he and Kashmera were not aware of Sunita Ahuja's appearance on the show and it was a huge surprise for them. Krushna, Sunita, and Kashmera posed for the photographers. Krushna said, "It's a surprise that the paparazzi have been waiting for 14 years. We've done so many episodes of Laughter Chefs. We always say it's a family show, but today, thanks to the creative team, our aunt came—it was a big surprise. Neither of us knew she would be coming, and we're really thankful that she agreed to be here. She has come on the show today. There has been so much gossip in the media over the years, but today, by coming together, we've put an end to all of it."
For the uninitiated, the problems reportedly started between 2016 and 2018 due to misunderstandings and Kashmera Shah's comments made on social media. Over the years, the families stayed apart and kept a respectful distance. Sunita has often expressed her anger in previous interviews, but now she has decided to bury the differences and forgive Krushna and Kashmera.
