Many actors who have worked with Shah Rukh Khan often share heartwarming stories about his warmth and special treatment. However, actor Manish Chaudhari's first meeting with the superstar is unlike any other. In a recent interview, Manish revealed that his initial encounter with SRK was truly unforgettable, and for a very funny reason: he was completely naked when they first met.
The Awkward Encounter on Set
The incident occurred on the sets of Aryan Khan's show 'Ba***ds of Bollywood', where Manish was shooting a scene that required him to be without clothes. Manish candidly described the meeting as "very odd" during his conversation with SHOWSHA. He explained, "There is a scene in Ba***ds of Bollywood which we shot through the night. It's in the spa," referring to it as the "robeless scene" since his character is naked. During the shoot, Manish needed to use the bathroom and walked there in his on-screen costume, which was essentially nothing. That is when he bumped into Shah Rukh Khan. "We were shooting that and I had to go to the bathroom and of course, I sort of went to the bathroom in my costume, which was nothing, and there he was, and I was lathered in oil," he said. Shah Rukh then approached him and attempted to give him a hug. "So he came like this (to hug), I said, 'Sir, No. I don't think you want to do that.' He said, 'Nahi nahi aaja (No no come),'" Manish recalled.
SRK's Hilarious Reminder
A few days later, when they met again, Shah Rukh brought up their first meeting in the most amusing way. "The next time we met, which was 3-4 days later, Aryan said, 'Papa, (meet) Manish.' He said, 'Haan mile the na. Tab aap nange the. (Yes we met. You were naked then).' That's how I met Shah Rukh Khan," Manish shared, still laughing about the incident.
Shah Rukh's Sweet Nickname for Manish
In an earlier conversation with NDTV, Manish revealed that the superstar had a sweet nickname for him. "Shah Rukh Sir calls me a 'nice producer'. I met him a couple of times during the shoot. It was always inspiring to meet him. I was extremely happy to have him close by on two or three occasions on set," he shared.

'Ba***ds of Bollywood' made a significant impact on Netflix in 2025, quickly becoming one of the platform's most popular shows.
