Manprit Kaur Saluja Left 6 LPA Job to Pursue Acting; Father Gave 3-Month Deadline
Manprit Kaur Saluja Left 6 LPA Job for Acting

Manprit Kaur Saluja is currently seen in the popular daily soap Mann Sundar. However, her journey to success has not been easy and her path in the industry has been quite challenging.

Not many know that before joining the entertainment industry, Manpreet had received a secure corporate job offer with a package of 6 LPA. However, she decided to follow her dream of becoming an actor and left the stability behind. Her father gave her only three months to prove herself in Mumbai. It made her journey even more stressful, especially towards the end of that deadline.

Recalling that phase, she shares, “In the last month, the pressure suddenly became very real. I had left behind a secure job offer of 6 lakh per annum. My heart was racing all the time. I was auditioning and doing corporate training side by side. Every morning I used to pray, ‘God, please... I don’t want to do this. I really want to make it in acting.’ Then one morning, while listening to shabad, I got the message- I was shortlisted for Palak. Taran said, ‘You’re selected.’ It felt like everything I had risked finally came together.”

What makes her journey even more inspiring is the lack of any industry backing. "I had no acting background, no workshop, no connections, nothing but one thing I always had was emotion. 'Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh poori kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish karti hai.' I just prayed for one chance, aur dil se maanga tha. I didn't have experience, but I had truth in my emotions. I didn't have connections, but I had hunger. 'Kahani unhi ki likhi jaati hai jo khud par yakeen rakhte hain.'"

Today, as she shines in Mann Sundar, Manpreet’s journey stands as a testament to the power of belief, proving that sometimes, one bold decision can truly change everything.
