Three-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against content creator Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, seeking $75,000 in damages for a series of derogatory posts that included a deepfake pornographic video and threats of physical harm. The legal action comes amid heightened public attention on the rapper's personal life following her split from NBA star Klay Thompson.
Details of the Lawsuit
According to court documents filed in December 2025, Cooper allegedly broadcast false claims that Megan Thee Stallion was a liar, directed her audience to a deepfake pornographic video of the rapper, and threatened to run her over with a car. Megan's legal team responded forcefully to Cooper's request to pause the $75,000 judgment, stating in a recent filing: "The same Defendant who showed no hesitation when she broadcast that Plaintiff was a liar, directed her audience to a deep-fake pornographic video of Plaintiff, and threatened to run Plaintiff over with a car, now pleads for the Court's solicitude so that she may avoid the consequences of a jury's verdict and this Court's judgment."
Cooper's Financial Claims
Cooper had argued that she could not afford the $75,000 penalty, citing a "fluctuating income" and her status as a single parent of three minor children. Initially, the amount was reduced to $50,000, but an appellate judge overturned that reduction after substantial evidence linked Cooper to Tory Lanez and his father. The judgment was reinstated to the original $75,000.
Megan's Emotional Distress
In December 2025, while still dating Klay Thompson, Megan Thee Stallion appeared in court and described the emotional distress caused by Cooper's content, noting that it exacerbated her struggles with depression. Since then, the rapper has stepped back from the public drama to focus on her personal life and career.
Relationship with Klay Thompson
Reports from Daily Mail indicate that Klay Thompson, now with the Dallas Mavericks, had wanted to end the relationship months ago. A source close to Thompson claimed he found Megan "too ghetto." Neither Megan Thee Stallion nor Klay Thompson has publicly responded to these reports. The rapper has maintained silence on the relationship drama as the lawsuit proceeds.
