Nehal Vadoliya, best known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has once again taken to social media to address the ongoing controversy with Gujarati actor Karan Joshi. The actress had previously accused Karan of sending inappropriate messages to her on Instagram in January 2026. Karan, however, denied the allegations, claiming that his Instagram account was hacked at the time.
Nehal’s New Video and Demands
In a recent Instagram post, Nehal shared a video captioned: "Know what the real truth was, with proof as well. Now, you decide who was right and who was wrong. Was it really hacked, or was it just a drama to save themselves?" The video shows screenshots of her chat with Karan, highlighting that the conversation did not have disappearing messages enabled. She also pointed out a chat with Karan’s friend from January 27, 2026, which she claims contradicts Karan’s hacking story.
Nehal further challenged Karan to provide concrete evidence of the alleged hack. She asked him to share screenshots if similar inappropriate messages had been sent to any other women besides herself. "You claim your account was hacked—then show proof. Share screenshots of other victims, if any," she demanded.
The Origin of the Controversy
The dispute began in January 2026 when Nehal first accused Karan of sending inappropriate messages. She posted videos and screenshots on social media, alleging that Karan initially blamed a friend for the messages and later claimed his account was hacked. Nehal also accused Karan, along with a producer, director, and mutual friends, of pressuring her to delete the posts and stay silent.
Karan, in response, reiterated that his account was compromised during the promotions of his film Laalo. He stated that the matter was resolved privately during a group call and expressed that the controversy had emotionally affected him and his family. Despite the public back-and-forth, neither party has filed a police complaint as of now.
