For Nimrat Kaur, Delhi is home. The actress, who was recently seen walking the ramp for Times Lifestyle Week 2026 in Gurgaon, spoke about her connection with the city. “Delhi’s my home. I always love being here, and I will be meeting my family briefly while I’m here, so I can’t wait for that. I wish I could have stepped out and had some street food. But maybe on another trip, I’ll go to Bengali market for chaat,” she shared.
Nimrat Kaur’s Nostalgic Visit to SRCC
The actress recently went back to her alma mater, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) in Delhi University’s North Campus. “I went back to Shri Ram College last year. I loved it, everything has changed and yet everything’s the same. I was still looking out for my hangout spots and things where I used to sit, have my Maggi, and samosas, and where we were ragged! All kinds of fun memories from those days,” she recalled.
Favourite College Hangouts
Reminiscing about her college days, she mentioned her favourite spots: “By the football field, there was a little tapri there called Irfan Chacha’s. I used to have coffee there. There was a tree, I think it was called the Wisdom tree. Always hoped for some wisdom to drop but no luck (laughs).”
Nimrat’s memories highlight the simple joys of student life, from street food to iconic campus landmarks. Her visit to SRCC was a trip down memory lane, filled with nostalgia for the days of Maggi, samosas, and the infamous ragging sessions that bonded students for life. The actress, who has made a mark in Bollywood and international projects, remains deeply connected to her roots in Delhi.
