OutStation Hits 50K Registrations, Drops Homecoming Single

Breakout teen boy band OutStation has achieved a significant milestone, crossing 50,000 registrations for its upcoming 10-city 'Homecoming Bus' tour. To mark this achievement, the band released its latest single, titled Homecoming, along with a music video inspired by the personal journeys of its members.

Surge in Registrations

The surge in registrations follows weeks of fan-led promotional activities across multiple cities, as supporters of the five-member group rallied behind the tour announcement. The band is set to embark on a 14-day road trip beginning June 14, with stops in Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jaipur, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Pune, and Mumbai.

New Single and EP

Serving as the title track of the group's debut EP, scheduled for release on July 31, Homecoming explores themes of longing, resilience, and belonging. The song reflects the experiences of the band members, who left their hometowns and families behind to pursue careers in Mumbai's music industry.

Music Video Storyline

The accompanying music video centers on band member Bhuvan Shetty and chronicles the challenges of adapting to life in a large city, including loneliness, uncertainty, and the pressures of finding one's place. The narrative contrasts these struggles with the comfort and familiarity of returning home. Shot in Shetty's hometown of Udupi, the video features real locations from his life, including his family home, and includes appearances by members of his family.

Band's Statement

Speaking about the release, the band said Homecoming captures emotions they have experienced over the past year and hoped the song would resonate with others living away from home for studies, work, or personal aspirations.

Growing Audience

The tour and new release come as OutStation continues to build a growing audience, following the success of its earlier singles, Tum Se and Aaj Kal. The band's road tour seeks to bring performances directly to fans across multiple cities, departing from the traditional concert format.
