Famed actor Pierre Deny, best known for portraying Louis de Léon in the hit Netflix series 'Emily in Paris,' has passed away at the age of 69. His death was confirmed by his daughters in a statement to AFP, revealing that he succumbed to a sudden and severe case of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

He appeared in seasons 3 and 4 of 'Emily in Paris' as Louis de Léon, the CEO of luxury fashion brand JVMA and father of Nicolas, Mindy's love interest. His other notable works include 'Une femme d’honneur,' 'Valentine,' 'Braquo,' and 'La Disparue Du Pyla.' His final credit was in 'Camping Paradis,' released last year.
