Prabhas' 'Spirit' Release on Track for March 5, 2027, Makers Confirm
Prabhas' 'Spirit' Release on Track for March 5, 2027

There have been reports suggesting that the makers of Prabhas-starrer 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, were considering postponing the film to December to avoid a clash with Salman Khan's upcoming project, which is locked for an Eid 2027 release. However, the cop-action film's team has now provided clarity on the release date.

Official Statement from Makers

The makers officially announced that the film is set to hit theaters as planned on March 5, 2027. They also confirmed that the production is on track, dismissing any delays. This clarification comes after speculations that 'Spirit' might be delayed following Salman Khan's film with director Vamshi Paidipally, tentatively titled 'SVC63', which has secured an Eid 2027 release date.

About 'Spirit'

'Spirit' is a cop-action drama in which Prabhas portrays a character with a notable bad habit, as hinted in the audio teaser. The first look, released on New Year 2026, shows Prabhas in an intense avatar with a wounded back. Triptii Dimri, playing the female lead, is seen lighting his cigarette. The film also stars Vivek Oberoi and introduces Aishwarya Desai in a major project. Set for a March 5, 2027 release, the film will be released in eight languages.
