Speaking of Ram Charan, he himself has transformed his body into that of a professional wrestler. As the ‘RRR’ star is seen as a wrestler, he underwent a muscular transformation. For his wrestling scenes, Ram Charan practiced with real fighters. During the trailer launch event, he said, “During the last 25-30 days of shoot, we were doing a kushti pehelwan (wrestling) shoot. I’ve asked him to get trained artists, but he’s gotten real pehelwans. Jab action kehte hain to zordaar pakadte hain.”

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ is a sports action drama film that showcases Ram Charan in multiple avatars as a cricketer, wrestler, and sprinter. He seems to be fighting for his people through sports and spirit. The film features Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. It also includes a special appearance by Boman Irani and Ravi Kishan. The film is set to release on June 4.
