Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala's sudden demise left the entire entertainment industry in a state of shock. Her husband Parag Tyagi, along with her family and friends, was left heartbroken. However, soon after her demise, several rumours started spreading on social media claiming that she was taking anti-ageing injections and followed fasting routines, which allegedly caused a cardiac arrest. Parag, who is still trying to come to terms with the loss and has dedicated his life to the memory of his wife, has now denied these rumours.
Parag Tyagi Denies Fasting Rumours
During an interview with Fimlygyan, Parag was asked if Shefali Jariwala was taking injections to control her hunger for long hours. He denied the rumours and said, "We eat everything. We had Chinese food the night before she passed away. Why do we even need to stay hungry? She is the fittest at this point of time in her pure life span. Your face becomes dull when you stay hungry."
Rejection of Anti-Ageing Injection Claims
Parag further went on to deny rumours about Shefali Jariwala taking skin-lightening glutathione or anti-ageing injections. He said, "Why would she even need to become fairer? Please tell me too if there is really any injection that can keep a person young forever. If that were true, even Ratan Tata ji would still be alive today. WhatsApp University has become too powerful now. People read things but do not research properly. Negative stories are easier for people to believe and spread. So, I would request everyone, please don't do this, friends."
Background of Shefali Jariwala's Death
For the uninitiated, Parag rushed Shefali to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital on June 27 last year, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. While initially it was speculated that the actress died due to cardiac arrest, the exact reason for her death has not been revealed. The Mumbai Police later sent her body for a post-mortem to find out the exact reason behind her death. After the examination, police officials stated that the cause of death was still "reserved" and had not been confirmed yet. The actress is best remembered for her debut song, Kaanta Laga and her participation in Bigg Boss 13.
