Shoaib Ibrahim recently shared that his father suffered another brain stroke and was admitted to the ICU. In a new vlog on his YouTube channel, he updated fans about his father's health, confirming that he is doing better and has been moved out of the ICU. He also provided updates on Dipika's health and recent treatments.
Father's Health Progress
Shoaib said, "Dad is finally out of the ICU now. There was a slight infection, which is very common during such times. Everything is fine now. The CRP levels are also normal. Yesterday, Papa was shifted from the ICU to a ward. I haven't been able to give any updates or shoot properly because it has been a new experience for Papa."
He revealed a scary moment when his father was unresponsive while sleeping. "At one point yesterday, I got scared. I was calling out, 'Papa, Papa,' but he wasn't responding. When I called out loudly again, he said he was feeling sleepy. I told him to go to sleep, and since then he has been sleeping a lot."
Rehabilitation and Family Visits
The actor added, "Today, his proper physiotherapy and rehabilitation have started. We went to the rehab floor at Kokilaben Hospital. He had a full one-hour session, and from tomorrow it will happen twice a day. Dipika also came to meet Papa today. She had asked me to inform her when Papa was shifted."
Shoaib shared that son Ruhaan has had a viral fever for two days. "Dipika couldn't come yesterday because Ruhaan had a viral fever with ear pain. But Alhamdulillah, he is better now. I have kept him away from the hospital. Once things improve, he will come to meet Papa."
ICU Experience
Shoaib described the ICU environment: "In the ICU, you are constantly surrounded by monitors and machines. ECG, blood pressure, pulse, and heart rate are displayed. If anything changes, alarms ring and nurses come running. Papa was constantly monitored there. Now in the ward, there are no such monitors, but nurses check every hour. Still, I kept worrying and would stay awake looking at him."
