Smriti Mandhana Wedding Postponed: Health Emergency & Cheating Rumors
Smriti Mandhana Wedding Postponed Amid Health Crisis

Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal's Wedding Plans Disrupted

The highly anticipated wedding ceremony between Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and playback singer Palash Muchhal has been indefinitely postponed. The wedding was scheduled to take place on November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, but was called off due to a sudden health emergency involving Smriti's father.

Health Crisis Halts Wedding Celebrations

The official reason given by both families centers around the health scare experienced by Shrinivas Mandhana, Smriti's father. According to reports, Mr. Mandhana suffered from chest pain on the actual wedding day and was immediately rushed to Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Centre for emergency treatment.

His mother provided details to Hindustan Times, explaining "He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours. He was given an IV drip, an ECG was done, and other tests were carried out. Everything came back normal, but he is under a lot of stress."

Interestingly, the family revealed that Palash was the one who initiated the wedding postponement, wanting to wait until Smriti's father's health condition stabilized completely before proceeding with the marriage celebrations.

Social Media Drama Fuels Speculation

While the health emergency provided the official explanation for the wedding delay, social media activity has sparked widespread speculation about potential trouble in the couple's relationship. Radha Yadav, Smriti's close friend and fellow cricketer, made headlines when she unfollowed Palash on Instagram, though he continues to follow her account.

Both Smriti and Palash have made significant changes to their social media presence following the wedding postponement. Smriti has removed most of her pre-wedding posts from her social media accounts, while Palash has maintained older content but erased all posts specifically related to their wedding festivities.

Rumors briefly circulated claiming that Smriti had stopped following Palash on Instagram, but this speculation proved unfounded as both continue to follow each other on the platform.

Family Breaks Silence Against Rumors

Amid growing online speculation about alleged infidelity and relationship troubles, Palash's cousin Neeti Tak has come forward to defend the singer. In an emotional Instagram post, she appealed to the public to withhold judgment during this difficult time.

She wrote, "Palaash is going through a critical condition today, you all should not judge Palaash as wrong without knowing the truth... Technology today has come much ahead of humans, that is why people should not judge Palaash in the face of rumours... pray for him."

Her statement represents the first public defense from either family regarding the cheating rumors that have been circulating online since the wedding postponement was announced.

The situation remains fluid as both families navigate the health crisis while dealing with persistent online speculation about the true reasons behind the delayed wedding ceremony.
