Actress Sujatha Akshay has finally addressed the speculation surrounding her unexpected exit from the popular Kannada television serial Bhargavi LLB. The actress, who played Nirmala Patil, the wife of JP Patil in the show, revealed that she was unaware of the reasons behind her replacement and learned about the development through a message while she was on vacation.
Clarifying the Rumors
Taking to social media, Sujatha shared a video message to clarify rumours that had been circulating about her departure from the serial. The actress said she was at Bangkok's Airport, returning to Bengaluru from a holiday with friends, when she received news about the change.
"I suddenly got a message saying that the character of Nirmala Patil in Bhargavi LLB was being replaced. At the same time, several troll pages started claiming that I was leaving the serial due to personal reasons," Sujatha said.
Addressing Health Concerns
The actress revealed that she had received numerous messages from concerned fans asking about her health and well-being after reports of her exit surfaced online.
"Many people have been asking if I'm okay or if I have any health issues. I'm absolutely fine and healthy. I just wanted to clarify the situation so that people don't make assumptions," she explained.
No Communication from Production House
Speaking about the replacement, Sujatha said she has no clarity on why the decision was made. While expressing gratitude towards the channel, she admitted that the production house did not communicate the change to her directly.
"The channel has always treated me well. But I don't know why the production house took this decision. They didn't ask for my dates, nor did they call me for the shoot. I don't know the intention behind it, but I have been replaced," she said.

Despite the unexpected turn of events, the actress maintained a positive outlook and assured her fans that she would soon return with another project.
"Whatever the situation may be, I will be back with another beautiful project. Thank you for all the love, blessings, support and concern. I never expected such an overwhelming response," she said.
