The premiere of Toy Story 5 was a star-studded event, with the film's cast gathering for the grand occasion. Joining Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack was superstar Taylor Swift, who made a quiet entry on the red carpet.
Swift's Surprise Appearance
The singer delighted fans and the media with an unexpected appearance at the Los Angeles premiere on June 9 at the Dolby Theatre. The Grammy-winning artist attended the event in a strapless structured dress by designer Erdem, completing her look with strappy brown heels and a horseshoe pendant.
Interactions at the Premiere
Once inside the theatre, videos circulating online showed Swift interacting with fellow guests as she took her seat. The star was also seen engaging with a child, giving him a warm hug.
Taylor Swift's Original Soundtrack
Swift's appearance at the premiere came shortly after she released the film's original soundtrack, I Knew It, I Knew You, which features in the movie. According to reports, Swift wrote the song for the character Jessie in the highly anticipated animated film.
Opening up about her emotional connection to the project, she wrote in an Instagram post: "I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages. I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?"
