In a heartwarming initiative, teachers of Sri Hingulambika Aided High School in Kalaburagi rewarded 11 top-performing students from classes 8, 9, and 10 with a free flight trip to Bengaluru on June 11. The tour was entirely funded by the school's teachers as a token of appreciation for the students' outstanding academic achievements.
First Air Travel Experience
For all 11 students, this was their first experience of air travel, making the trip a memorable and inspiring reward. The journey began from Kalaburagi airport, and the students were visibly excited as they boarded the flight for the first time.
Exploring Bengaluru's Landmarks
During their day-long tour, the students visited several iconic landmarks in Bengaluru. They explored the majestic Vidhana Soudha, the seat of Karnataka's legislative assembly, and gained first-hand insight into the functioning of the state's legislative system. The visit provided them with educational exposure beyond the classroom, sparking interest in governance and public administration.
Praise for the Initiative
The initiative has drawn widespread praise from parents and the local community for encouraging academic excellence while giving students real-world learning experiences. The school's teachers expressed pride in the students' achievements and hoped that such rewards would motivate others to strive for success.
