From summer silhouettes to vibrant traditional couture, Times Lifestyle Week displayed an array of styles and bold looks on Day 2. Grandeur was redefined with elegance at Dalcore – Design is Alive Presents HMD Times Lifestyle Week 2026, Powered By Indian Institute of Fashion & Design, IIFD and Volvo Car India, Co-Powered By Ahaglow at Grand Hyatt, Gurgaon.

Skincare meets music on the ramp

Singer Akasa Singh serenaded models while Nikita Dutta turned showstopper for Skinnovation presents Vee by Puneet Kapoor. The collection showcased satin suits and dresses inspired by Indian silhouettes, a tribute to grace and femininity. Nikita Dutta shared, "I'm feeling really colourful. Bright, vibrant shades are the flavour of the summer season, and it feels wonderful to be dressed up like this." Kalpesh Gawade, founder & MD, Skinnovation, noted, "We did an integration of music, fashion and skincare. Skin is the most ignored organ and we're building consumer awareness through the show."

A celebration of traditional weaves and culture

Saurabh and Reshmi Bagchi brought back the 19th century fashion from Bengal with Shunyaa. The collection featured ivory dhotis paired with Bengali weaves, portraying the Babu culture of 19th century Kolkata. Saurabh said, "We are very proud to celebrate the grand history, culture and heritage of Bengal and India, bringing back what was in vogue almost a century back." Reshmi added, "Today we brought back the rich heritage of Bengal with everything we love, from books in the models hands to the music with Satyajit Ray's compositions and Rabindra sangeet."

IIFD Spotlight presents Anju Vastra by Anju Deswal

Anju Deswal showcased lehengas with Haryanvi drapes, keeping the culture of Haryana alive. "I'm deeply inspired by the women of Haryana and how they carry their lehengas," she said. Anchal Kumar, showstopper in a heavy red lehenga, shared, "I feel ethereal. It's heavy and stunning but also comfortable. It's got a great modern twist."

Yaksi Deepthi Reddy

Deepthi Reddy presented her collection Rekha, inspired by sunrays, featuring traditional sarees and suits in pastel and vibrant colours. "Most of our fabrics are from Banaras to Kanjeevaram. It's an amalgamation of all traditional weaves and handicrafts," she said.

Fashion with a message

Rosy Ahluwalia's Dot Affair, conceptualised by her daughter Manpriya, brought back the 80s with vibrant polka dots reimagined with an Indian lens. Shibani Kashyap, showstopper in a teal and black dress, said, "It is called the Dot Affair and I truly had an affair with it on stage!" Dr. Dharminder Nagar, Managing Director of Paras Health, highlighted precision-driven cancer care through 'Umeed Ke Sitare'.

Neelgar by Kamaldeep Kaur

Kamaldeep Kaur presented Neelgar, championing handcrafted embroidery from Ahmedabad. "The focus has always been sustainability. We work extensively with bandhani and patchwork," she shared.

Celebrating womanhood

Realm by Vaishali celebrated womanhood in a tribute to Marilyn Monroe on her 100th birth anniversary. Vaishali Dahiya said, "It was all out glam. I wanted all the models to have fun on the ramp."

Defining summer trends

Trends brought the Holiday Edit with relaxed silhouettes, breathable fabrics, earthy neutrals, and soft pastels. Dhvani Bhanushali, showstopper in a chic floral dress, said, "Less is more! The more you crowd your wardrobe the more confusing it gets."

A celestial moment

Bhawna Rao's collection, presented by Rearco powered by Volvo Cars India, featured broken glass pieces, fringes, and metallics. The stage was transformed into a polar landscape with icebergs. Shanaya Kapoor, showstopper in a metallic silver gown, said, "I felt very calm. I felt the best version of myself." Geetanjali Khanna, founder & MD, Rearco, said, "It was a scintillating evening." Jyoti Malhotra, MD, Volvo Car India, added, "Cars are an extension of your personality and so are dresses."
