Actor Vivek Dahiya recently shared his thoughts on embracing fatherhood, revealing how the experience has transformed him emotionally. In a new vlog on his YouTube channel, the actor reflected on the changes he has noticed in himself since becoming a parent.
Identity Shift and Emotional Change
Opening up about the journey, Vivek said that fatherhood has brought a profound shift in his outlook. “Feels like my identity has changed as a man. Since I’ve become a father, same face, same personality, everything is the same, but the heartbeat, dil ki dhadkan badal gayi hai,” he shared.
New Conversations and Connections
The actor also revealed that many people have been curious about his experience as a new father and how the family has spent the last few weeks. He noted that conversations in his life now largely revolve around babies and parenting. Talking about the unexpected connections he has made, Vivek said he bonded with several new-age parents and found himself discussing children, schooling and parenting for hours. “There were some people with whom I may never have spoken beyond a couple of minutes earlier, but we ended up having long conversations over kids, schooling and parenting,” he said.
Balancing Time Away from Babies
Despite enjoying those interactions, Vivek admitted that he constantly missed his babies whenever he was away from them. He added that learning to balance personal time while carrying his children in his heart is a new lesson he is still figuring out. “I was enjoying myself, but I was still missing the babies. I think this is a new balance that I need to learn in life, that even if I’m out, I’ll still have them in my heart, but I can still have a good time,” he shared.
Visitors from the Television Industry
Meanwhile, the couple recently welcomed visitors from the television industry. Actors Dheeraj Dhoopar and Vinny Arora dropped by to meet the new parents, Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, and spend time with the family as they begin this new chapter of their lives.
