Actor Dhanush, riding high on the positive buzz surrounding his recent release 'Kara,' has already shifted his complete focus to his next ambitious project, tentatively titled 'D55.' The film is helmed by director Rajkumar Periyasamy, who previously impressed audiences with 'Amaran.' Since its announcement, fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the project, which boasts a massive cast and an action-packed theme. The film's launch was notable for the presence of prominent figures like Shankar, Mari Selvaraj, and S. J. Suryah.
New Shooting Schedule of 'D55' to Begin Soon
According to a report by Cinema Vikatan, the team of 'D55' is gearing up to resume shooting in the coming days after a short hiatus. Earlier schedules were filmed across Chennai and Chengalpattu. The makers have also erected a massive temple festival set in a village location near Chennai to capture important scenes. Dhanush will soon join the new schedule, which includes filming a special song sequence featuring actress Sreeleela. The previous schedule already encompassed crucial scenes featuring Dhanush and veteran actor Mammootty together.
Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela Add Strength to the Film
The film features a formidable cast, including Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela in pivotal roles. Reports indicate that the movie is being crafted as a stylish spy action entertainer. Mammootty's role is anticipated to be one of the film's biggest highlights. It is said that the veteran actor immediately agreed to the project after hearing the story narrated by director Rajkumar Periyasamy. After wrapping up this project, Dhanush is expected to move on to his next film with director Tamilarasan Pachamuthu, who directed 'Lubber Pandhu.' The upcoming movie is reportedly an action drama set in Madurai. The script has already been finalized, and the team is now scouting for shooting locations.
