Eleven juveniles escaped from an observation home in Chhattisgarh's Ambikapur city late on Monday night, prompting a massive search operation by the police. The inmates broke out of the facility located in the Darima area around 11:30 pm, according to officials.

Police have set up checkpoints across the city and launched searches at railway stations, bus stands and other locations to trace the underage inmates. Superintendent of Police (Ambikapur) said that all exit points have been sealed and teams are conducting raids at possible hideouts. A case has been registered and efforts are on to apprehend the escapees at the earliest.
