Billie Eilish, the Oscar and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter known for hits like 'Bad Guy', 'Happier Than Ever', and the James Bond theme 'No Time to Die', has achieved another milestone in her remarkable career. The 24-year-old artist has co-directed a concert film with legendary filmmaker James Cameron, and the duo celebrated its world premiere together in London.
World Premiere in London
On Tuesday night, April 28, Eilish walked the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square for the premiere of 'Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D)', wearing a Celine outfit. Cameron, the director behind blockbusters such as 'Titanic' and 'Avatar', stood by her side, marking an unexpected yet fruitful creative partnership between two of entertainment's most distinctive voices.
Billie Eilish on Making the Concert Movie
In a new interview with Elle magazine, Eilish shared insights into the project. Initially hesitant about a concert film, she explained, "At first I was like, 'I don't want to do a documentary.' I shot a documentary when I was 15 to 18, just being filmed for three years straight. I'm so private about my actual life now." However, her perspective changed with Cameron's involvement. The opportunity came about in an unconventional way: "Usually, things go through the team and the managers. But it was literally my mom who told me, 'Hey, James Cameron has been really obsessed with your show from afar,'" she revealed. Cameron was not a commercial addition but a genuine admirer of Eilish's live show, which fostered a trustworthy creative partnership.
